Before you Order.
If you are planning any construction or reconstruction of any areas around the existing windows, please let us know as it may affect the size of the window that is being ordered. Once the window order is placed, the sizes are set according to what was originally measured. These windows cannot be sent back seeing as they were custom made for your home.
Day of Installation.
On most occasions, installation of your windows only takes one day. We request that all window coverings (blinds/curtains) be removed by homeowner before our arrival. We also request that all furniture be moved at least 2 feet from the window sill area on the inside and outside of the home. This allows installers enough room to maneuver windows in and out. For safety reasons, we strongly suggest any onlookers stay at least six feet away from the crew members as they are working. Our team is trained to be careful when handling glass, however as glass ages it tends to become brittle and occasionally glass will break during removal.
Care and Maintenance.
Vinyl windows and doors come close to being maintenance-free, but considering the normal exposure to atmospheric conditions that arise, you can help keep your windows and doors clean with very little effort. Please do not use the following products on any part of your window or door - as it may damage the glass surface or insulating seal: petroleum-based cleaners, caustic chemicals, razor blades, putty knives, abrasive pads, or high-pressure water hoses.
