When should I replace my windows?

Windows should be replaced when they have air leaks and drafts, are difficult to clean, and/or appear foggy. Other indicators that it’s time to replace your windows: they are difficult to open and close, they do not provide adequate security for your home or family, they allow dust and dirt into your home, or they do not block outside noise. When your heating and cooling bills continue to rise, or when your windows are costing you time and money in maintenance, it is probably time to consider replacing them.

How long does installation take?

Most jobs can be completed within one day. In most cases, each window takes about an hour. Sliding glass doors take about 2-3 hours each.

What is a retro-fit window?

Retro-fit windows are custom made to fit the existing openings in your home without causing any damage to the stucco, siding, or drywall.

What is Low-e Glass?

Low-emissivity (Low-e) glass has a coating that reduces approximately 99% of harmful UV rays from entering your home. It also blocks 100% of the radiant heat from escaping or entering (depending on the season).

What is tempered safety glass?

Tempered safety glass is treated with high heat for strength. If tempered safety glass is broken, it will shatter into very small pieces, instead of shards.
